Anime Market Atlanta 2026

The deets

Where: Stone Mountain, GA

When: January

Table Cost: $100

Attendance: estimated 500-1000

The space

This is the first time we’ve tabled at this event. The event space has permanent booths around the outside and in the center front with the temporary event tables being located towards the back. We were pleasantly surprised by the wide alleys between rows and the 8’ tables provided by the event organizers. We were told by other vendors that 8’ tables are not the usual size, so be aware that tables might be smaller at future events. The shopping center is a bit sketchy when you first pull up, but the inside of the building serves its purpose. It’s a lot less echo-y than some other spaces we’ve been in.

The market

There was no dedicated artist alley, so expect to be mixed in with folks selling things besides art. This event had a good number of resellers, which seems to be the standard for this organization’s events. The market was free for attendees to go to, which was a huge plus as folks were pretty much attending to spend money, rather than for the event programming.

The audience

The attendees of this market was a mixed age group. Good mix of nerd interests amongst attendees so even if you aren’t pushing anime-specific stuff you can still make sales. We had lots of folks interested in out TTRPG products.

The sales

We made over 3.5x table. Another vendor disclosed to us that they also made 3-4x table and they had purchased more tables than us and had wildly different inventory.

For this 2-day con our total time investment was 16 hours of active vending and 1.5 hours of combined set-up and break-down time (total of 17.5 hours). The event closes its doors at 5 pm, but folks who are already in the building can continue to shop until 6 pm.

Items that sold the best were original prints, stickers, journals, and lanyards. Most people paid with card rather than cash.

The rest

When we first arrived, there weren’t any staff set up to check any of the vendors in which was a bit confusing given it said you had to check in with staff before setting up in the emailed instructions. There are no vendor badges or ways for someone to identify themselves as vendor or guest, though the staff that were present were all waring CCS branded clothing so that helped identify them. This event is pretty lax, relying quite a bit on the honor system (which is not terribly a-typical, but still something to note).

While this was mainly a market, there was some programming, including a cosplay contest, karaoke, and some computer and retro games for attendees to play. They even had a few backdrops for photos which was pretty cute.
