Wait, who are you?
Court and Lynn are the creative minds behind Border Breakers, having formally launched the LLC in 2024.
The goal of Border Breakers is to bring our passion projects to life and - in the future - platform other talented artists and support them in reaching their creative pursuits. Together with our creative team, we have brought to life the visual novels Exposure, TOIL, and Exposure - Appalachia, and are in the process of relaunching the Dragon Spirit comic series.
In 2026, we aim to continue to grow our business and diversify our projects and services.

FAQ
-
Both of us (Court and Lynn) are primarily digital artists ourselves, so we do create our own designs and artwork and the pieces showcased in our individual portfolios and our convention portfolio reflect our own drawing styles.
In our larger projects, we collaborate with other real artists to bring those visions to life. We’ve worked with composers and coders on larger projects such as our visual novels.
We do license designs from other artists we have a good working relationship with (hi, Nynh and Tenerf!). Licensing contracts are renewed annually and the artists are paid a percentage of each sale of any product we put their designs on.
We do not use generative AI in any capacity and instead celebrate and support the talent, skills, and lived experiences of our creative team members.

All our artwork is created digitally. We use a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, and XP-Pen drawing tablets.
We do on occasion do traditional art. This tends to be graphite sketches on bristol board, inked with micron pens and shaded with Copic markers.
